I had a delicious veggie wrap for lunch, which was quite filling, with the option to add chips if you’re feeling extra hungry. It was packed with pumpkin, mushrooms, and haloumi. My partner and I had a disagreement over his chili prawn linguine; after the first bite, he reached for his water, while I found the heat level to be just right. Regardless of our differing opinions on spice, we both agreed it was absolutely delicious. Breakfast is served from 8 AM to 12 PM, lunch from 12 PM to 3 PM, and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 PM to 9 PM. Please note, they do not split bills, and there’s a 10% surcharge on Sundays and public holidays. Plus, you can enjoy a 25% discount if you use the 2018/19 Entertainment Book.
I visit The Source frequently since it’s my neighborhood spot. During the peak of COVID, they showed incredible support for the local community, and I think that generosity has come back to them in spades. The coffee is excellent, and the food changes based on the catch of the day. The service is friendly and efficient, and the views are fantastic. It’s also a great place for kids and dogs. I really couldn’t ask for anything more from a local café.
I always enjoy visiting Source Cafe for lunch, whether I'm hosting clients or treating my team. The food never disappoints, and I can't resist their Barramundi when it's featured as the market fish of the day. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the location is simply lovely and relaxing.
Friendly? I wouldn't characterize this café as child-friendly, or even friendly at all. A large group seemed to be an issue, even though the place wasn't busy. The staff were quite unfriendly, and the person I assumed was the manager had a snarky comment for everything, making us feel like we should be grateful for the poor service we received. I have no complaints about the food; it was good, and my fellow diners agreed. However, the coffee was not impressive. We won't be returning, and I can't recommend this place.
