Upon entering, we were met by two staff members who simply stared at us without greeting. After an uncomfortable silence, one employee finally told us we could sit wherever we liked. We decided to go outside and chose a table, but after being overlooked by another server, we were informed that our table was reserved. Disappointed, we chose to leave. While this may not reflect their usual service, our experience was quite off-putting, and we didn't feel welcomed, making us hesitant to return.

During one bite, I heard a crack and felt something hard—it turned out to be a large piece of my tooth breaking off. To my horror, the hard object was a nail! The staff were very kind and apologetic; I showed them the nail and my broken tooth and informed them I would be heading to the dentist immediately. They kindly comped my meal, which I appreciated. After a trip to the emergency room—the nail was rusty—and spending four hours in the dental chair, I tried contacting the owner, Rick, to get information on where to send the bills for insurance. He avoided me several times, and when I finally reached him by chance, he refused to cover any costs, claiming they strain everything. However, a nail that size certainly does not pass through a strainer!

The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We definitely need more places like Rick's Dockside Grill, especially with such an excellent menu!

The fries were equal... read more I found Rick's Dockside Grill on Google Maps and it’s a great place. I tried the build-your-own burger from the menu, and it was excellent. The fries were equally tasty. I’ll surely visit again whenever I’m nearby.
