I have eaten in osaka a couple of times for lunch and they have the best chicken hibachi in the opposite (since toyoma in colorragut closed) and it is so much food for the paid price. the garnel sauce is also very good I recommend osaka for anyone looking for the best hibachi around. What Wyatt Brown doesn't like about Osaka Japanese Grill:
I have an order through the trip thru, which should take 25-30 minutes. without being notified or even someone a little apologetic about the situation when I arrived, it took additional 20 minutes to wait for cold eating only. when I talked to a manager. I placed a to go order through the drive thru that was supposed to take 25-30 minutes. Without being notified or even have someone be somewhat apologetic about the situation when I arrived, it took an extra 20 minutes, only to wait for cold food. When I asked to speak to a manager...I was told that one wasn't there, and when I asked for a refund, I was told that my order hadn't been sitting there as long as I thought it had, and that a refund wouldn't be possible. I know how to tell time and I know how long I had to wait, the fact that the employee tried to lie about the time frame and also argued with me about a refund, was very disrespectful. I usually don't do reviews or get upset about these things because I've worked at a restaurant before, but it was the attitude of the employee that I dealt with that put me over the edge. I will go elsewhere from now on, and I will be sure to let anyone I come across know they might want to do the same as well!
First of all, they serve some of the best fried rice in the Knoxville area. Rice is always fluffy, never greasy, and has the perfect amount of soy; it provides a great compliment to the understated, fresh tasting style in which they prepare the entrees. Service is always very warm and friendly. I love the subtly of the execution here; sauces are not overly sweet, meats are not overly cooked, and vegetables are not cooked to death(they REALLY cook vegetables very well at this place). On the Knoxville area's list of sure bets for a solid Japanese meal.
Wow this is the first time I've eaten at a Urban Spoon restaurant ranked over 85% that was terrible. While the serving sizes are large, the food quality is poor. The alleged hibachi steak is big squares of pot roast that is chewy and flavorless. Again I'm shocked by all the high ratings, I am not from this area, I suspect nobody realizes there is much better Hibachi food out there like Kasumi in Knoxville.
Great Value!!! We went last night (Saturday) at 6:30pm got a table right away, no waiting.
I live right around the corner from this place and have been a victim of its excellent aromas for over a year now, I finally made it!! It was a tuesday,
