Situated on scenic Route 6 this is a classic diner. We sat in the diner area with a great view of the counter. Ordered the daily special with included soup and sandwich. Clam Chowder was tasty with lots of clams. Chicken Cheese Steak sandwich on white toast with chips. If you are looking for a classic Diner experience The Bluebird is definitely worth visiting. Waitress who sat us and seemed to be in charge was a complete jerk from the start and made the whole experience terrible from the beginning. The second waitress was sweet. Food was great, but we left a few dollars tip because the first waitress was so terrible. They never, ever disappoint. On Sunday mornings, no matter how hectic it can become, both Jill and Haylee bring us incredible service, par excellence, each and every time. Great eats, great portion sizes and great prices with whatever you choose to order. They deservedly receive my 5 stars here.
Still a great little spot. I haven't been there since my grandmother worked there but the food is still the same and the prices are great
Everything is made fresh, the food is delicious, the staff is super nice and super quick. My friend who usually doesn't eat much ate so much!! It's a great atmosphere and it's verrryyyy welcoming. Had the brownie and ice cream together and it's amazinggggg!! Me and my friends loved it! Also special thanks to Jennifer!! And to Jane!! They were amazing
Always go here when visiting the area. Quaint diner with good food.
