Instead of saying, "I must have been mistaken," she remarked, "You don’t have to explain," which only reinforced the notion that she thought I was trying to take advantage of the promotion. Essentially, she publicly accused me of lying and theft in front of other customers and refused to reconsider her stance despite the evidence I presented. I submitted feedback on Subway's franchise site, but it has been several weeks with no response from anyone. While the sandwich itself was good and I’ve been a loyal Subway fan for years, the experience of being unjustly accused of dishonesty was very disheartening. After driving an hour for the sandwich deal, I’m left with a sour impression, and I’ve decided I won’t return to this Subway location again.
