A surprise find while wandering the streets of Marrickville. One minute you're in Sydney's inner west and the next you're in a local deli in Greece. Every variety of olives and cured meats to be found here and those unique Greek specialty food items as well. My partner was most pleased to find well priced jalapenos (vs supermarket giants)! What Buster Roob doesn't like about Lamia Super Deli:
I have been here many times over the years. They have an excellent range of Greek gourmet items and that is why we go there. However, I am not happy that most items are not priced and also it would be a lot more convenient...if they would accept some form of card payment. View all feedback.
Huge selection of cold cuts, cheeses and a multitude of greek products. The take away portion of this shop serves up huge, flavoursome sandwiches and wraps at very affordable prices. The shop is small and can get crowded during lunchtime, but service is always friendly.
It's a super deli, packed with things I'd never heard of so I stuck to some Greek classics to make a sandwich olives, kefalograviera and taramasalata and they were all top notch stuff, although you do have to pay a fair bit for it. Staff were great.

What a delight it is to visit Lamia Super Deli. Harry the owner is there singing Greek (ordinarily) but always welcoming cutomers into his tight but filled with everything shop. His wife Christine (The brains) and who truly is the boss takes care of one...of Sydney's best value for money sandwich bar. They have sandwiches, rolls, any type of food on any type of bread for your lunch. Vegetarians are catered for with salads, falafel, lentil salads, bean salads. This is the shop my mother took me to years ago and THAT is its charm
True Greek Delicatessen with a large selection of local and imported goods. They also stock my favourite Green Cheese Kasseri which is absolutely delicious. The staff are very helpful and allow you to sample olives and cheeses. One of the last true Greek...Delis.
