What a great night out! The sunset view was fantastic, the restaurant was beautifully presented. We took advantage of the happy hour deal - 2 for 1 beers with delicious meatballs and bread. What more could you ask for? The music was cool too, although they may have gone a bit overboard with the volume control! View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Le Salama:
There are very limited vegetarian options available, with no items clearly marked as vegan on the menu. The waiter did not seem to comprehend my explanation of vegan preferences. The food was decent, but nothing exceptional; it consisted mainly of typical Moroccan-style tagine dishes. The prices were exorbitant, making it the most expensive meal we had during our holiday in Marrakech. The decor of the restaurant was... View all feedback.
The Moroccan salad selection is fantastic and they serve alcohol, which are the two standout features of this restaurant. However, the space is a bit cramped and the nightly belly dance show is very loud and intrusive. While some may enjoy this, it made us want to leave. Additionally, we suspect that we were overcharged as we paid much more than what we ordered.
There were very limited vegetarian options available and no vegan options marked on the menu. The waiter did not seem to understand my dietary requirements when I tried to explain them. The food was decent but nothing remarkable - just your typical Moroccan tagine. We found the prices to be extremely high, making it the priciest meal we had during our trip to Marrakech. The restaurant had a stylish decor, but we were not pleased with our table placement right under a bird cage.
Le Salama, like all Moroccan restaurants in the medina, offers vegetarian options but without exceptional quality or uniqueness. There are better choices in the medina!
The restaurant offers a perfect experience with belly dancing, generous portions, a rooftop terrace, and delicious food. The lamb to share is large and tasty, along with a variety of salads. One of my favorite dishes was the seafood pastela. The food is of high quality and priced accordingly. Enjoy stunning views of Marrakesh at any time of day, with belly dancing performances every night at 10pm. Make sure to come hungry and soak in one of the best atmospheres in the city.
We went to this restaurant for dinner on our first night. The view was amazing!! However, we had to wait a long time just to receive a menu. We waited for 45 minutes for our food to arrive, only to be told by the waiter that our main dish was sold out and we had to choose something else. We also noticed that other tables were experiencing similar delays.
