Dead River Coffee Roasters - Marquette

Coffee here is great. Really strong espresso flavor in the lattes, and house-made syrups! Lattes aren't too sweet. Workers are always so patient and friendly! We get scones every time we go too, and they're delicious.

After seeing the commercials on TV, this was a let down. Small, dark, dusty and dingy. The only food was scones.

We loved this spot nice atmosphere for sitting and chatting or getting work done, and I love that they seem to take a quality over quantity approach to serving coffee with a small menu and great espresso!

Our experience with Dead River Coffee started with having a cup of coffee at breakfast and had to ask what it was… because it was so good. We were visiting the area and we stopped in. First super cute and very friendly. We took home 2 pounds of coffee, cup, and a t-shirt. Needless to say we were hooked. Just ordered 3 lbs and having it shipped to us. Thank you!

I visited Marquette this past weekend, and it was a welcome surprise to find such a quirky, eclectic, and queer-friendly spot in the UP! My matcha latte was delicious. The staff was friendly. The vibes were immaculate. Will come again if I visit Marquette in the future.
