Description

Beardsley's Patisserie in downtown Marquette has captured the hearts of its customers with their scrumptious menu offerings. From sweet croissants to savory sandwiches, everything is made with top-notch ingredients and baked to perfection. Their pastries are compared to those from top bakeries like Bouchon Bakery. While there have been some minor complaints about freshness, overall, the atmosphere, service, and food quality are highly praised. The charming decor, friendly staff, and delicious food make Beardsley's a must-visit spot in Marquette for a delightful dining experience.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! My go-to dish used to be the monkey bread, but since discovering my gluten sensitivity, I've had to opt for gluten-free options. Today, I tried the yogurt parfait, which was both gluten-free and delicious. I have yet to find anything on the menu that I didn't enjoy. The macarons are scrumptious and always freshly made. They offer gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions. The service is great and I usually dine in for breakfast.

The service was very enjoyable, the best pumpkin latte actually tasted like pumpkin and not syrup. The pastry was also fantastic! Overall, I would give this restaurant a 5 out of 5 rating for food, service, and atmosphere.

This restaurant describes itself as a Patisserie and truly lives up to that title. I have traveled to Paris and other European cities, as well as European-style cities like Toronto, and 231 Patisserie surpasses expectations. The sticky bun was delightful, and my triple or quadruple espresso was strong and flavorful without any bitterness. I also enjoyed a tasty breakfast burrito with a nice balance of flavors and a touch of heat, served with Cholula sauce on the side. The food is satisfying and sits well even after 20 minutes. The music selection was perfect, with a mix of jazz, folk, and other genres that helped me stay focused while writing and reading. I had pleasant conversations with other customers, and the atmosphere was friendly. The artwork in the restaurant is fabulous, with whimsical prints like two old school robots on the Golden Gate bridge and Batman brushing his teeth. The lighting is just right, not too harsh but providing enough brightness for reading and writing. Overall, a wonderful experience with delicious food, great music, and charming decor.

O.M.G! The pastries and coffee are so worth a few extra miles of driving! The artichoke and spinach pastry, or go big with the ham and cheese croissant. The monkey claws are perfect for your sugar fix. And there are breakfast burritos, muffins, and many other offerings to tempt your palate. Go for it! Service: Take out Meal type: Breakfast
