To expedite food service, we called and ordered some specials such as the duck in plum sauce, chicken stuffed with sweet rice. We also brought two fishes which we caught over the weekend and they agreed to steam one and sweet-and-sour the other. Both turned out to be fantastic! The duck in plum sauce was cooked with dasheen and the rich tangy plum sauce mixed with the dasheen was really great. Thoroughly enjoyed that. We also had a vegetarian dish with 3 different types of fresh mushroom cooked with young shoot vegetable (sweet potato leaves). That was soooooo good!!Soup was complimentary and it is always good to start off your meal with something hot and it was very tasty and rich with flavor - a home style Chinese soup with "abundance of fire" meaning cooked for a long time.The staff was very attentive and the dishes would be on the "lazy susan" as soon as it is ready so we got them one by on in good close order and they were all steaming hot.Food was good and the desserts include sweet soups like red peas, black sesame and almond w/egg drops. Normally I don't eat sweet of anything for health reasons but I had to taste ALL of them. I guess I can't have any sweet stuff for a month!Good service, good food with friends. Time well spent! A memorable evening. Can't ask for more.

Simple dishes included Snow Pea Leaves; Tofu with mixed seafood in hot pot; Pork Chop in "special" sauce; Chicken fried rice; Noodles; and a special treat - Bitter Melon & beef with black bean. All this with house soup and choice of 4 desserts made the meal very filling. Every dish had excellent flavour and portions were plentiful.Good choice for a non-pretentious venue with good "home-style" Chinese food.
