Was Anonym at Wins Seafood a mag?
Excellent dining experience! The staff was very friendly, and the owner was wonderful and helpful. They seemed surprised that we could use chopsticks, which added a bit of fun to the atmosphere. Food: 5/5. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Wins Seafood:
I came to this restaurant every week before pandemic. recently I came back to lunch for the first time and it is a little disappointing. the price has risen what I think it is in order as it happens everywhere differently, but the part is small, which is why I only give it a 3 stars. Taste and quality are ok, but I probably won't be back as there are better options. View all feedback.

Living in the area for 13 years now and never tried this resto until last night (not sure how long it's been around). This is a no-frills good ol' Cantonese style restaurant - my kind of restaurant. No coloured table cloths, no gold embossed dishes, no trendy styled uniforms with little bows on the waiters & waitresses, no outrageous set menu prices - just good food, decent prices and friendly staff. Our family of 7 went on a Sunday night at 6:30pm and the restaurant was about 3/4 full but we were seated promptly without a reservation - by the time we left around 7:45 there were a few families waiting. The restaurant has a traditional Cantonese menu as well as a "Make Your Own Set Menu". They also have seafood & house specials that they advertise on a white board on the wall. This evening we opted to choose from the build your set menu - the menu has about 2 dozen dishes with lots of variety: chicken, beef, pork, veggies - something for everyone. We chose Sweet & Sour Pork - the pork had an excellent batter which tasted a little like the KFC chicken & along with the usual pineapples & peppers it also had pickled garlic which I've never had in this dish before; Eight Treasure Tofu Stir Fry - the eight treasures include chicken & beef slices, squid, BBQ pork slices, some veggies & of course tofu; and Sweet & Sour Battered Fish - this one just on the "meh" side. The 3 choices were $27 which is a pretty good deal in this area. We also added a Shrimp & Scallop Stir Fry With Veggies & Prince Mushroom ($22). With rice, the total including tax & tip came to $70.This restaurant also offers complimentary soup and a choice of complimentary Chinese dessert.

Friend's recommendation that I should go back to try this restaurant after their new management team took over the operation since this month. Big improvement on both good and service. Restaurant looks much more clean and organize than before. Price is much reasonable than other seafood restaurant in same area.

Ours was a party of 18 had dinner there to celebrate birthdays for three friends. To expedite food service, we called and ordered some specials such as the duck in plum sauce, chicken stuffed with sweet rice. We also brought two fishes which we caught over the weekend and they agreed to steam one and sweet-and-sour the other. Both turned out to be fantastic! The duck in plum sauce was cooked with dasheen and the rich tangy plum sauce mixed with the dasheen was really great. Thoroughly enjoyed that. We also had a vegetarian dish with 3 different types of fresh mushroom cooked with young shoot vegetable (sweet potato leaves). That was soooooo good!!Soup was complimentary and it is always good to start off your meal with something hot and it was very tasty and rich with flavor - a home style Chinese soup with "abundance of fire" meaning cooked for a long time. The staff was very attentive and the dishes would be on the "lazy susan" as soon as it is ready so we got them one by on in good close order and they were all steaming hot.Food was good and the desserts include sweet soups like red peas, black sesame and almond w/egg drops. Normally I don't eat sweet of anything for health reasons but I had to taste ALL of them. I guess I can't have any sweet stuff for a month!Good service, good food with friends. Time well spent! A memorable evening. Can't ask for more.

Great Cantonese dishes. Best is fried chicken with stuffed sticky rice. Owner Jack and Tammy are super friendly. They make a point to greet customers and chat with them.
