NOT the... read more On Sunday morning, my husband and I met our son's future in-laws for the first time at the Woodbine and Denison location ( not been open long) Markham. NOT the one listed above. It was my suggestion to go there. This was to be our 3rd visit to this location. Aside of us and our party, we were the only table filled at this time. We were shown to a table in the corner of the restaurant. I should mention at this point that our son and his fiancee also joined us for breakfast. I ordered a green tea with honey, the others had coffee which was okay. The water in my teapot was tepid, I didn't really discover this until i was ready to pour the tea. The tea didn't arrive with honey and after request honey again, I gave up and went to the counter to ask for it myself, the guy cooking the food, was so busy eating, his mouth bulging with food that I could hardly understand what he was saying but I did get my honey. When our server came to the table to FINALLY take our order for breakfast, I told her that my tea was cold. She brought me another pot of water, this time thankfully hot but I had to use my same teabag that had been sitting in the tepid water. Eventually, everyone got their meal except for my future daughter-in-law who kept insisting that we start eating and being that it was some time before she got her meal, we waited, as a result, our food was cold. My meal came with fries which were half raw and the meal tasteless. Nobody was thrilled with what they ordered. I felt so awful being the one to suggest us going there for breakfast. When these companies sell their franchais, don't they make sure that the people buying a business are capable of running the place and don't they train them properly? Suffice to say, we have no desire to go back to this location and it has left a bitter taste in our mouths so we wouldn't bother visiting any other locations. The owners of this location, need to get their act together. I did send a complaint to head office and as yet, have had no response. Disappointing to say the least.

Upon arrival, we found the seating area to be nicely arranged and the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent, with our orders taken quickly and efficiently, and the wait time was reasonable. The food exceeded our expectations and we left satisfied. We would definitely recommend and return to this restaurant!

We had a very pretty waitress attend to us, and marvelled at the way she took four orders and got each one right without writing anything down!! There is good endless coffee and almost all of the...breakfast dishes comes with fried potatoes. However, I asked for sliced fresh tomatoes instead of potatoes with my smoked salmon eggs benedict which was very tasty.
