I absolutely love Field Head for its welcoming atmosphere. It's a relaxing place and a great central location for meeting up with friends. What Heather Mcdonald dislikes about The Fieldhead:
I wasn't very impressed with my Sunday lunch. The Yorkshire pudding was quite hard and difficult to cut. I only received carrots, while everyone else had broccoli as well, which I didn't realize until halfway through my meal. On a positive note, the ambiance was nice and it wasn't crowded, which my group appreciated. The service was good. Overall, I would rate it: Service: 4, Location: 5. View all feedback.
This was our second Route 66 motorcycle reunion here, 18 people stayed in 9 rooms for dinner, bed and breakfast. A big thank you to Roxy for booking all the rooms when there was an issue with your computers. Thanks to Miriam for sending the menu for our food pre-orders and to Reya for booking us all in on the day of our stay; all were friendly and helpful as ever. A big thank you to Toni and her team for setting us up for dinner in a “private” area just for us, for getting all the food out in good time and all together and also taking extra orders for desserts, and thanks to the chefs too. Thanks to Devon for checking to make sure everything was OK. It was appreciated by us all. We all had a great stay and there is a possibility that we will book here next year for another reunion!
