Marina Grill - Marina del Rey

The halibut had too much butter for my taste. I wish I had spoken up about it. However, Dred's service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant is really impressive!

The buffet brunch was absolutely delicious, especially the apple smoked speck! The selection included a variety of baked goods, muffins, croissants, yogurt, oatmeal, sausage, and potatoes with paprika sauce, among many other items. We also loved the omelette bar and the fresh waffles. All of this came at a very reasonable price—definitely the best deal in Marina del Rey. I've enjoyed brunch here several times and was quite surprised to find we were the only diners in the restaurant. I hope they had more guests earlier. The service was excellent, and the environment was clean and inviting, with comfortable seating and a lovely view of the water.

We have visited this restaurant several times, especially when we have group coupons, and it has never disappointed us. We usually order fish or vegetarian dishes, and everything is cooked to perfection. The happy hour menu is a great deal, although there aren't many options if you're looking to drink wine. The service is always wonderful; the staff takes their time, and the waiters strike the perfect balance between attentiveness and ease. They don't hover around, yet our water glasses are always filled. Overall, it's a lovely place to dine.

We had a groupon that was due to expire and remembering how nice our meal had been the last time we were there, we returned. Happily there was no dog sitting next to us this time, which was the primary reason we did not go back sooner. Our meal was delicious and reasonably priced. We eat early so the restaurant was fairly empty and the service very good. I will try this place again in the near future. They do have a lovely patio, but not so much for winter. Would recommend this to anyone in the area who wants a good, fair-priced meal from a nice menu.
