Large, fresh ingredients! the pizza? crust has a very nice crust. the wings are xtra large, fleshy and they have a large selection of sauces.
Great people and service! and best is the pizza great. support small local businesses like these. great day specialties for lunch or dinner!
As a native Californian, Marietta Pizza, in its funky, century-old-building storefront location, characterizes all the East Coast pizza joint cliches. Full disclosure: I'm vegan, found nothing edible here but fries or salad, but observed and noted about the food from my 3 companions: . The stuffed pizza by-the-slice was very good, generously packed with meat, cheese. Veggie wrap was average, kinda greasy w/evo (vegans can't trust wraps; tortillas usually made with lard). Chicken sandwich was very good. Service was great. A mistake was made in the fries order; they came with cheese. A fresh order appeared at our table without asking, at no charge. I never eat fries, as in NEVER, but am an experienced cook. I thought this iteration was underdone, but perfectly salted; suggest ordering fries well-done if that's your pleasure. Only real complaint inside restaurant temperature was cold; we needed jackets at a booth under a stairwell on a mid-October day. Parking is street, metered, 25 cents for 2 hours. On a Saturday, we parked in front of the restaurant.
I initially had a negative opinion of this place, but the owner asked me to give it another try. I did, and now my family and I have been ordering from here every Friday. We really enjoy their pizza and highly recommend it.
