The atmosphere is praised, but some feel the food is bland and overpriced, with inconsistency in dishes and service quality. Overall, McCleary's is a hit or miss, but worth a visit for the pub atmosphere, beer selection, and tasty meals.
We like mcclearys and eating is always excellent. they have reduced the menu so in the last year, but we still have some favorites on.
On Tuesday evening, 18:00 clock in-house defense ( terrace). only two waitresses. the service was very slow and we waited longer than expected that our order is taken and our food is served. the bark was tasty, but the fish and chip dishes were in taste. overall, the food was overpriced for quality.
Beautiful pub atmosphere. bier selection was very good. our meals were delicious and the portions were great. the service was excellent. worth for everyone upstairs was very good. I'd go back there.
First time at McCleary's. They have a broad selection of beers on tap and in cans. I recommend looking the beer selection up online. Crab dip was outstanding. The only thing that prevented five stars was the length of time it took to get our main course, Both the beef tips and fish and chips for entrees were excellent. No room for dessert.
Among the best food in the area. Incredible service and atmosphere. Can't recommend it enough. One of a kind experience.
