I ended up getting a veggie plate collard greens, M... read more I found this spot randomly on Yelp and decided to try it for lunch. I was blown away at the sensible prices! I ended up getting a veggie plate collard greens, Mac and cheese, and fried okra. It comes with a piece of cornbread. I ordered online and picked it up about 30 mins later. When I got there I noticed there wasn 't much sparkle to the place. No decor on the inside except that good ol random grass wall with the neon sign. I gave the woman my name and she handed me my order. I first noticed how heavy the bag was! And when I got in the car the aroma hit me and it smelled great so I got excited. When I got home I opened up the box to see a nice size portion of everything and it was still warm enough to eat without having to reheat .And!Everything tasted great! The little cornbread was wrapped in foil so it was warm and moist when I unwrapped it. The greens were flavorful, although a little sweeter than I 'm used to. The mac and cheese wasn 't too cheesy and had those illustrious spiral noodles. And they gave me a generous amount of fried okra which was also delicious! I checked the menu and even though it 's not too extensive, almost everything looks and sounds good. Definitely going to make this place my next 'regular ' and try other menu items. It 's affordable and tasty. What else could you ask for?!

However, they told me that no one would have said... read more The chicken was so good that I found myself craving it two days later, so this time I drove to the restaurant. However, they told me that no one would have said that to me about the yams. While I didn't expect a full meal comped, I did hope to get the yams replaced as a courtesy. Unfortunately, the way they spoke to me at the window made me leave without ordering. That's why I'm giving this place 3 stars. But seriously, the chicken really is fantastic!
