**Dining Experience at a Local Eatery: A Mixed Bag**
At this local eatery, patrons have reported a blend of delightful food and disappointing service. While the menu features tempting options like fantastic shakes and affordable meals, customer service varies significantly. Some diners encountered unfriendly staff displaying a lack of professionalism and care. From inaccurate orders to unkempt appearances, the service experience has left much to be desired. Cleanliness also seems to be an issue, impacting the overall dining environment. Nonetheless, the establishment appeals to late-night cravings, drawing customers back for its affordable prices and tasty treats, despite service inconsistencies.

I’m not sure if this is the case at all Cook Out locations, but this one had a sink in the lobby area near the register. While I’m unsure if it’s for public use, I did take advantage of it to wash my hands. However, the restaurant's floor felt very sticky, and I had to grab cleaning supplies from another table to wipe ours down before we could sit down to eat. I gave this place a 3-star rating because while the food was just okay, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The one positive aspect was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, and the affordable prices make it accessible for almost everyone. Would I return? Probably not, but I wouldn’t judge anyone else for wanting to give it another try.
The food at this restaurant is enjoyable, but my experience with the customer service from the young man at the register was disappointing. I visited the location near Pep Boys on Steel Road and found his attitude rather unwelcoming. Despite being polite and friendly, he responded with a demeanor that suggested he didn't want to be there and preferred if I just left. He also didn't listen to my order properly, which led to a mistake. When I tried to thank him and wish him a nice day, he almost rolled his eyes and decided to engage with a coworker instead. I'm not sure what his issue was, but I don't really care. I was courteous, and it would have been nice if he could have shown at least a bit of politeness in return instead of being so dismissive and rude.
I stopped by the Austell Road location and used the drive-thru. The cashier was pleasant, but unfortunately, the food didn't meet expectations. The nuggets were overcooked and the fries were stale and soggy, as if they had been left out for too long. Even though it only cost $4, I was still hungry and couldn’t eat it. I won't be going back.
The drive-thru took an incredibly long time to process my order. When I finally received my cheeseburger, it was only half the size of the bun and unfortunately, it was burnt.
While placing my order at Cook Out, I noticed an employee quit in the background. I ordered three shakes, double fries, and some burgers, but they missed one shake and the fries in the drive-thru, then claimed I hadn’t ordered those items. The food quality was disappointing, even for fast food. The buns were dry and hard on one side, greasy and soft on the other, and the fries were too salty to enjoy. I don’t plan on returning.
