Tried a Roast Chicken Roll with gravy instead of mayonnaise for the first time thoroughly enjoyed it. plenty of filling in the roll. The chips were hot salted the drinks were cold. Plenty of napkins were supplied which was helpful. Tip: We ate close by at a park with a lake a menagerie of ducks geese. Very pleasant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Red Rooster:
Restaurant was filthy but only 1 table occupied. Young staff with no obvious adult in charge.Staff very 'bored' and it was a chore to serve. Finally got my order and got home only to realise that they hadnt given me half of it so had to drive back only to be greeted again by disinterested staff.Got home a second time and it was disgusting. We usta go here but after going to the toilet a few times and finding the buns delivered to the toilets on crates .. no thank you! staff were always making out a basic order is hard and serving customers was a inconvenience.. they were also untidy and ill kept in appearance.
However, there are positives to highlight as well. The available menu items were well-presented, delicious, and affordable. I was able to feed both my elderly Dad and myself for only $16 during lunch. The franchisees were friendly, and the service was relatively quick, considering that fried items were cooked fresh. It was surprising to see Red Rooster, originally known for its barbecue offerings, now serving fried chicken. Nevertheless, the Salt & Vinegar Chicken Chippies were particularly tasty.
Ordered a family meal deal for $25 (4 rolls chips). Food average. The whole building inside and out needs to be refurbished as it looks like it hasn’t been updated since the ‘80s which is off putting. Doesn’t look or feel the cleanest.
Staff nice and helpful, the food was okay, chicken is chicken, however I found the restarant not the cleanest around, the floors could do with a good scrub. But it was okay for fast food.
