I recently visited a Subway store in Marcoola, Queensland and had a mixed experience. As a fan of Subway's healthy eating choices, I was disappointed to find the salad ingredients of spinach, carrot, and capsicum were empty. Despite being a regular at Subway, I had never encountered this issue before. It turns out that the delivery truck had not arrived, leading to the lack of fresh ingredients. However, I was still charged the same price for my order, despite not getting the full selection of salads. The service was decent, with a friendly young girl offering me avocado as an alternate option. However, when I asked about an additional fee for the avocado, another staff member did not provide a clear answer. It seems that at this location, availability of salad ingredients can vary and customers may not receive all options despite paying the same price. For a better experience, I would suggest visiting other Subway locations in Maroochydore, Coolum, or even Noosa.

Thought I would grab a subway on the way home, have had subway many times previously so I know what to expect. I ordered then a lady walked in behind me, my order was to be toasted so they tended to the other lady while...mine was being toasted the toaster timed out and they took my order out and sat it on the bench while they went back to serving the other lady, other people were now in the store and staff started serving them while my “now cold” sub was still sitting until they decided to get back to me. I was asked what salad I wanted I told the person serving that it had been sitting too long and that it would be cold so I made him heat it again (it should have been remade totally) It was reheated and given to me. It was died out and very crusty terrible, worst sub I have ever had. I sat under the tables on the awning at front when a customer that was served behind me said that he is a regular here and sees this happen quite often not acceptable.

The restaurant is clean and quiet on the inside, near the main street. The service is good, although some tables were not the cleanest I have ever seen. Regardless, it is still worth a visit as the food was well presented. The restroom was also clean, although it could use some improvement.

I ordered a basic chicken fillet sub only to find that it was served cold. I returned it to the restaurant and informed them of the issue, but the inexperienced employee attempted to reheat it and serve it again. This resulted in me losing my appetite. Luckily, I received a refund, but the restaurant lost other customers due to their poor food safety standards. The staff at this location need more training, Subway!

There was a great choice to put in the long rolls and they had a special of two great up, but we preferred to make our own decisions and we did not wait long. much fun
