This is the best pizza in Marblehead. I tried every place but this was the only one for me. New phone system is kind of wack though. Not a big deal, but they should go back to the old one.
Firstly, both the printed and online menus indicated a price of $10.50 for one item, yet I was charged $13.97—nearly a $4 increase, which feels excessive. When I raised this concern, I was informed that the menu was "outdated." How is it possible that both the printed and online versions are outdated? Why should I pay almost $4 more for something that is misrepresented? I could easily purchase all the ingredients from Crosbys and make five sandwiches for that amount. Ultimately, I decided to go home instead. It's frustrating to hear that the menu in my hands is “outdated.” Restaurants need to move past using rising costs as an excuse and start seeking innovative solutions. Necessity fosters creativity, and it’s time to stop making excuses. Simply raising prices is not a sustainable strategy.
The pizza at this place is amazing! While the cauliflower crust options are limited, they are incredibly tasty. The thin, delightful crust makes for an excellent low-carb option. I am a big fan of Vesuvius!
I'm giving just one star for today. Normally, I really enjoy the food here and have never had any issues until now. Unfortunately, I decided to try something new: a chicken salad on a sub with tomato and onion. There was way too much mayonnaise—enough to completely overpower the chicken! I couldn't finish it. Mayonnaise shouldn't be the main ingredient in a salad. I’ll definitely come back, but I won’t be ordering the chicken salad again!
