Ate here twice (center, then dinner) during our visit to Marmorhead. The first stop was after the car for hours and only needed a place to eat. When we started, we immediately felt welcome. Townie atmosphere with fast, lively service and really good seafood. Both visits were fresh and hot while our drinks were cold and strong. Perfect combination for us tired travelers. We stopped in the “spirits” side to have a couple drinks and the unwelcoming feeling was pretty embarrassing. I wouldn't even give this place one star.. It was very apparent they did not want to serve us. We were finally given food menus, never even asked us if we wanted a drink. Which is odd because if we were wanting to eat we would have sat on the dining side. Don’t go here unless you feel like getting stared down... View all feedback.
Call, reserve your lobster. We had an early dinner reservation only 1 of us got lobster. It was brilliant, best baked filled on the North Shore.
Place was fantastic! The shrimp scampi was phenomenal in size, flavor and overall scrumptious-ness! Highly recommend! If in Marblehead make this a MUST!
Great food, libations and townfolk. Always great music, too. Rapidly becoming my favorite bahr!
There is no better fish sandwich on the planet. Hands down.
The atmosphere was great, definately eating with the locals. Food was great(haddock), good waitress, good beer!
