What User likes about Rumours Coffee House & Deli:
First time to marathon. Drove into town to grab breakfast. Map quest was wrong and we couldn't find the cafe. Happened upon it as we drove around. It's in the strip mall by Canadian Tire (across from the military tank). I got the eggwich (McDonald's egg mcmuffin) and my husband a breakfast wrap. Both excellent. A simple cafe, but yummy breakfast. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Rumours Coffee House & Deli:

read moreA small town cafe in Marathon, Ontario is a hidden gem for those traveling between Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay. Despite some inconsistencies with orders and cleanliness concerns, the simple menu of sandwiches, wraps, and desserts at this cozy spot is worth the stop. The food quality, portion sizes, and unique poutine options, like "messy fries," make it a great choice for a satisfying meal. The cafe may lack modern decor, but the friendly staff and delicious, homemade food options keep customers coming back, offering a much-needed break from fast food chains while on a road trip.
This restaurant was just okay. Despite having an A rating from the health department, it didn't appear very clean. The bathroom was quite dirty. I only ate a co...
