We visited Rossofermo in Maratea, Italy for an appetizer and drinks. The owner Giusy is very inviting and a wonderful host. Rossofermo has the best bruschetta! It's a must. You get 4 different toppings and all are absolutely divine. Go to this restaurant when visiting Maratea!
I came across this inviting small wine bar and restaurant as I came down the narrow streets to the centre of Maratea from The Saviour way above the town and the second biggest statue in the world! Here you will find an excellent array of wines, spirits and beers and I was recommended a Sardinian beer by the owner who has good English and who previously worked in the NW of England. I returned on a number of occasions due to the unique wonderful ambiance of the place ever so different. As a group we also ate a tapas style meal with all the food being recommended by the owner. This washed down with local Basilicata white wine was ever so tasty. Loved the place.
Il personale è cordiale e professionale, ci ha consigliato un ottimo vino da accompagnare con una grande tagliere di salumi e formaggi locali. La posizione è caratteristica nel centro storico.
Amazing wine, follow the waiter's recommendation, he knows best! The meats and cheeses platter is really interesting and delicious. Music is interesting...
