The young man behind the counter was very helpful and shared some of the history of this long-standing family business with us. The layered date bar and the toffee bar with maple icing were so delicious. Worth the stop! View all feedback.
What L K doesn't like about Buckeye Bakery:
This place was great and I stopped there often but about a year ago this place went on a down-hill slide. They never have any thing left when I stop by 11am! I haven't bought anything in a long time because their product cases are always empty when I go out of my way to stop there. The cookies here are fantastic, especially during the Christmas and holiday season. Whenever we’re back in town, my family often tries to visit this place. It's a wonderful tradition we cherish, even as life gets busy.
This used to be a good spot for donuts and cookies, but the staff has really declined in quality. You'd be better off going to Miller's Bakery in Ashland, which is ten times better anyway.
I made another visit to Buckeye Bakery, even though I had no particular reason to go to Mansfield. We recently got a gas puzzler, and this trip is a 50-mile round trip! We arrived here at 9:30.

Been a fan for 40 years. Until today. My daughter called a month ago to order for her wedding. They said call back a week from the wedding. She calls today, 9 days out. They told her they wouldn't take her order and were rude.
