Es war an dem abend sehr gut besucht da hat man sehr lange anstehen müssen und was zum sitzen war auch ziemlich schwierig. Habe mich für einen Salat entschieden. Es hat lange gedauert bis ich es serviert worden ist. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und man konnte auch bei ihm bestellen. Preislich ist es sehr teuer habe für eine Cola knapp 4 Euro bezahlt was wirklich sehr übertrieben ist.

I have been Vapiano member since years now. And I seen the restaurant in Mannheim (specifically) loosing its wimp and sliding down the quality street. The last... read more I have been Vapiano member since years now. And I seen the restaurant in Mannheim (specifically) loosing its wimp and sliding down the quality street. The last visit was not different from the past experiences: 1) The specials are 'always ' out not available. I do not get the point of having specials announced, but not having enough stock. Its been 3rd time in couple of weeks, that they are out of stock. 2) The staff behavior has gone from bad to worse. Vapiano staff were treating people rudely, and then asking them to file a complaint at counter. It just seemed as if they wanted deliberately to raise the number of complaints and thus were teasing customers I do not know the motives behind. 3) The pasta served to us was bland (no taste), and had black (burnt) onions with uncooked tomato sauce. When the chef/cook was asked to improve it, he rudely negated it. 4) Waiting time for pasta was around 30 minutes while for pizza, it was was told to be 40 minutes (though I got my pizza in 20 minutes, which was burnt). 5) The prices have raised over the period of time, but the quality and the quantity of food and the behavior towards customers had definitely declined.

I would seriously recommend to try and tell the cooks what would like in principle and let them get creative, and they are very creative very engaging with the customer, informative and very pleasant.
