Service was swift and friendly. The steaks tasted very good and the prices are reasonable. It looks like the restaurant is mostly frequented by (older) locals.

Das Schnitze... read more Da ist kaum noch Luft nach oben: Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat. Die Panade richtig schön gewellt, aber fest am Fleisch haftend. Das Schnitzel zart und dünn geklopft. Von der handwerklichen Seite kann man ein Schnitzel kaum besser zubereiten. Und die Konsistenz erfüllt zu hundert Prozent das, was die Optik verspricht. Vielleicht könnte man sich ein wenig mehr Aroma wünschen - aber weshalb stehen Salz- und Pfefferstreuer auf dem Tisch? Auch die Zitrone hilft. Nachwürzen war für mich auf jeden Fall notwendig. Sehr wohltuend: Auf der Speisekarte stehen als Beilagen ausschließlich Nudeln und Bratkartoffeln. Keine Pommes. Und die Bratkartoffeln sind absolut hervorragend. Nicht fettgetränkt, sondern schön kroß. Ein Genuß. Den Salat können wir uns für die Bewertung schenken. Das Dressing deutlich zu süß. Und wenn man etwas zum Nörgeln sucht - eben der klassische deutsche Beilagensalat. In dieser Form eigentlich überflüssig. Service: Herzlich und bodenständig. Preise erschwinglich. Preis-Leistung: dementsprechend sehr gut.

My special wishes have so far been fulfilled without any ifs and buts and I really appreciate that. We prefer to go at lunchtime because it is always very busy in the evenings and the acoustics are too extreme for me personally. But if we want to go, then we’ll go . Many thanks to the whole team.
