Unfortunately, our original reservation for Christmas Day had been lost, so we had to switch to Boxing Day. On the positive side: The waiters were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. We especially appreciated that the children received their food first – that was really great! Most of the dishes were also delicious, with the exception of the sauerbraten, which was unfortunately a bit too dry. What disappointed us: The owner was very unfriendly. He even banged on the table and told us to leave, claiming he urgently needed the table. We never received our ordered desserts, but were still expected to pay for them. Overall, it felt like the focus was more on serving a large number of guests quickly than on good service and a friendly atmosphere. Especially in times when the restaurant industry needs support, a little more respect for the guests would have been appreciated. It's a shame – with more respectful treatment, we would certainly have been happy to return. As it was, unfortunately, we can't. What disappointed us: My tip: Be careful when making a reservation!

Ordered a meal with an appetizer at 2:30 p.m., which wasn't served and could have been received after the main course. Received at 3:45 p.m., some of the food was still cold. The excuse given was that despite the reservation system being deactivated, online orders had somehow interfered. My question is, with that many customers, how do they manage to buy the groceries and prepare everything? The food tasted good, apart from the above. The location is great in the summer with the beer garden on the edge of the woods. Perhaps it will improve with more staff.
