The atmosphere of Dolce was incredible. The staff was so attentive and nice. The truffle linguini is incredible a must! Great vibes for small group a friends looking for a good time.
From the first moment I wouldn’t call the welcome “warm” rather if you aren’t a regular you aren’t welcome! Can’t for a coffee by card apparently the info is somewhere hidden in the menu, not being local I don’t carry Euros around with...me and am used to being able to pay anywhere at this age in time by card. View is great, certainly but doesn’t make us for the unfriendly staff and certainly the lack of “let’s have another coffee” feeling. Odd is also that one apparently can not reserve tables, however for the “regulars” tables are reserved front row ... don’t dare to sit down you’ll feel like you are back in South Africa during Apartheid times. Overall: unfriendly, overpriced and certainly not living in the area of the century.
Came across this restaurant/bar by chance. My friend and I received great service from our waiter ‘Eddie’. The food is casual and tastes great. Recommend the Charcuterie/Cheese platter and also the pasta dishes. Drinks are also good and the overall vibe was great. We liked...it so much, we went back again during our week’s stay.
The service on Sunday afternoon was terrible. after 15 minutes we left. We were always put off and preferred to enjoy our coffee and cake in the neighboring Cafe Floh. The bald man behind the counter preferred flirting with two blondes to taking care of his business. Wait... that 's just the way it is, he said. The Dolceamaro is not recommended!!!!!
