Great vibes for small group a friends looking for a good time.

Can’t for a coffee by card apparently the info is so... read more From the first moment I wouldn’t call the welcome “warm” rather if you aren’t a regular you aren’t welcome! Can’t for a coffee by card apparently the info is somewhere hidden in the menu, not being local I don’t carry Euros around with...me and am used to being able to pay anywhere at this age in time by card. View is great, certainly but doesn’t make us for the unfriendly staff and certainly the lack of “let’s have another coffee” feeling. Odd is also that one apparently can not reserve tables, however for the “regulars” tables are reserved front row ... don’t dare to sit down you’ll feel like you are back in South Africa during Apartheid times. Overall: unfriendly, overpriced and certainly not living in the area of the century.

Recommend the Ch... read more Came across this restaurant/bar by chance. My friend and I received great service from our waiter ‘Eddie’. The food is casual and tastes great. Recommend the Charcuterie/Cheese platter and also the pasta dishes. Drinks are also good and the overall vibe was great. We liked...it so much, we went back again during our week’s stay.

Dolce Amaro – bittersweet – something beautiful with a touch of melancholy ⸻ Beautifully situated under the arcades by the water tower, in Mannheim's most charm... read more Dolce Amaro – bittersweet – something beautiful with a touch of melancholy ⸻ Beautifully situated under the arcades by the water tower, in Mannheim's most charming area – a place where you immediately feel welcome, even if you arrive alone. Pleasant guests, a relaxed atmosphere, and an almost familial chemistry within the team that noticeably extends to the (regular) patrons. The staff is exceptionally warm and competent. Iris greets you warmly, the bar managers are friendly, competent, and attentive – you can tell the teamwork here is excellent. My culinary favorites: focaccia with burrata, the fantastic almond cake, and the excellent wine. Whether for breakfast, lunch, business meetings, dinner, or enjoying the bar scene with great music – you can experience it all here. A true favorite spot in Mannheim. I'll be back again and again.
