What Mary F dislikes about Da Michele:
Funny reception. Waiting for the food for 80 minutes, it's moving. The pizza average. The pasta is sweet in taste as well as service. Entertainment is difficult because noise levels in the small room are quite high. Music at some point does not improve the atmosphere. That's also what the customers say is optional. On arrival at half a six o'clock in the evening, the Apulian restaurant was quite empty, but there was a “maintained” sign at almost all tables and we briefly stopped the air when the Nardelli family wanted to put us three in a small corner table. My wife called for lunch and reserved a large four table for us three, as we know that the tables are very close to Da Michele. In 1966, Feudenheim became his 1200-year-old feeder. In 1986, the Maulbeer Island and the Wörthel, which were created by the construction of the canal and since then offered a natural habitat for a variety of plants and animals, were raised to the nature reserve. It is also worth mentioning the Citizens' Park with the natural monument bell created in recent years. The purchase and service offer in predominantly family-run shops covers all areas of demand. On Friday there is also a weekly market in the town hall. For children and adolescents, there are seven days of day nurseries in the district, a primary school, a real school and a gymnasium that visits Xavier Naidoo. For more than 25 years, Michelle Nardelli and family have been thrilling with a hand of selected dishes and wines from Apulia, one of the oldest vineyards in the world. The interior strongly recalls the former Da Michelle in Landau, which houses the counter under a brick roof, the rest of the tables are noble, although strongly arranged. The espresso has 65 seats that are far enough. Just before 8:00. I skipped the guests, there were about 80 in the guest room, much too much, the volume was extremely high, three of us moaned the head, that was too much. We will then be placed on a larger table, next to us the daily recommendations on the slate table: recommendation card power, what is going on, we look in the menu, here the prices a bit high, but still everything in the green area, as it is so beautiful. We choose a yeast of King Ludwig 0.5 for 3.20, small apple juice choir and Cola Zero. I take the calf steak 280 grams from the standard card, with gorgonzola sauce and pommes, instead of supplement salad I pimpe a small Italian salad as a supplement (up to 1.50). The two ladies take a small mixed salad (3,50). My wife takes the spaghetti Carbonara, her mother the Tortellini “ ala panna”, both dishes around the 8 euros. The Italian expert knows: Carbonara stands for coal dealers and is marked as black spots in court. Either fried bacon or fresh from the pepper mill. And finally: Carbonara After a long time we finally get the Carbonara “Italian” means without the cup cream. The Tortellini also convinces over the whole line. Nice bite, the sauce easily remembers parmesan and cream. A highlight of my calfs. A dream, tender, juicy. The frits wonderful, slightly salted. A dream to do the Pommes in the sauce that recalls Gorgonzola Kalbssteak with Gorgonzola. There was the little Italian: Italian little salad with artichokes that I pulled out the window, the best dressed salad in Mannheim. Large olive oil, slightly scratched in the neck, refreshing vinegar, fresh herbs. Well tasted with lemon and sugar. Perfect. To steak I ordered an apulian “Monte Pulciano”, the district for 5 euros, a very good companion. Only my wife didn't make her serve her apology. The section, well meant, was a lumberjack section. Who stands on large salads, the large Italian salad is put in the heart. Since I was still sweet, I chose the “Dessert Variation” standing on the slate table: Dessert Variation I liked Zuccotto, right on the picture. A freshly baked apulian cake. Sensationell, there were fresh Panna Cotta and a small piece of cake. Conclusion: Unfortunately it was too loud in the evening, apparently most guests hadn't seen at the tables for a few weeks and naturally tried to exaggerate the other table in the band. Some confuse a restaurant with a standing pub, a pity. You could help him by pulling out half the tables. But: then the Nardelli family would only earn half, because “Da Michele” is full almost every day. But a recommendation, not just for salads.

Das Da Michele ist ein kleines Restaurant. Da es gern und gut besucht ist rate ich dazu vorher zu reservieren! Das Essen hier schmeckt super (Pizza, Nudeln, Salate, Fisch..) alles typisch italienisch.Wenn man am Wochenende herkommt muss man allerdings ein bisschen Zeit mitbringen, da es immer voll ist und das Essen dadurch etwas dauert. Aber bei einem Glas Landwein und der guten Stimmung ist es gemütlich und das Warten lohnt sich!

Small but fine Italian restaurant! Great pizza and separate speciality board. The boss makes the service....total nice and friendly. The boss is in the kitchen! All in all top! Only recommended

A very delicious Italian restaurant. The unique selling point: they serve game. Macaroni with game ragu, just as I would expect in an Italian trattoria. Excellent.

Da Michele has long delighted us with its excellent and lovingly prepared food at moderate prices. The appetizers and pizza are especially fantastic. Meat lovers should definitely try the rump steak. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great place to spend a relaxing evening. And if you're in a hurry, you can also pre-order and take away.
