With its original 1910 interior and a big bouquet of nice flowers it is a charming, calm spot in Mannheim - a city where beauty is not omnipresent. Since it is positioned slightly off beat but central it is an ideal spot for a relaxing break. From Wenesday to Saturday it has extended opening hours and a small but very well selected range of great local wines, classic drinks and Vermouth based cocktails. In the evening I would name it a sopisticated, rarely seen classy aperetivo place like it is hardly found in most german cities. The evening crew is particularly friendly and does a perfect service - might it be inside or on the sunny south western terrace. A spot not to be missed in Mannheim.
