This tim... read more I have been there before and although the staff can be a bit strange and slow till now I hadn't much to complain: nice place, nice breakfast, OK cakes. This time everything that could go wrong apparently went wrong. It was a really hot day...and we immediately ordered when we arrived since we only wanted to do a short pause. For minutes we saw everyone being served without even receiving our drinks. We asked the waitress who told us that they would be coming more minutes and we decided to ask again if we could at least get our drink. She said yes and came back later to ask us what we had ordered since her portable register had apparently a problem and didn't save it... This after a long time of being there waiting and asking multiple times for our drinks and food. When I reordered she informed me that what I had first ordered min ago was now finished so I needed to choose something else. So that was it, with a very poor apology. After that we received our drink and food after more minutes of waiting and at no point we got some kind of serious apology or sign of good will after they had seriously failed at their job. We didn't leave before because actually we used to go there quite often and although we already knew about the strange staff we never thought they could be this rude and out of touch. Here is a recommendation for your business: next time you are that bad at serving your clients that you leave them at the sun for almost without a simple drink, at least give them a heartfelt apology and the minimum is to offer them a drink... Specially if they are regulars. Horrible. Not coming back
