An excellent selection of things to have for brunch, and definitely top-notch and quality and presentation that’s for sure. The brunch menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and the quality and presentation were outstanding. My only complaint is that some of the staff on this particular Saturday seemed a bit disengaged, although it didn’t ruin the experience. Since it was a relaxed Saturday, their lackluster energy might have been due to the atmosphere. Nonetheless, they were friendly and polite. I would still highly recommend checking this place out; it’s definitely one of the better brunch spots in Manly!
I ordered the Portuguese chicken burger, and it was absolutely the best chicken burger I've ever had! My dad had the pancakes, and he raved about them, saying they were excellent. My wife opted for the cheeseburger but felt it tasted more like meatloaf than a burger, so she wasn't as pleased with her meal as we were. The service was fantastic, and the location and view were pretty nice as well.
This restaurant was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, and the view of Manly Beach was stunning. We primarily ordered seafood dishes and were very pleased with our choices. Just a heads up, though—the portions can be quite large. The cocktails were also fantastic, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!
A cozy restaurant with relaxed seating overlooking the beach and the ocean. They have both outside comfortable seating and indoor more personal seating arrangement for people. I tried their signature fish and chips that comes with a healthy portion of greens and any drinks of your choice. The food was delicious and you can eat it enjoying the Ambience, the surrounding areas, beach going people and surfers. Overall experience is great and recommended strongly
Conveniently located on the Manly beachfront, Whitewater is the perfect place to dine for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have a diverse menu which caters for all different crowds and occasions. The restaurant can seat up to 140 guests and can host a cocktail event for up to 160 guests. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available. On a sunny day, the outdoor seating is the most ideal for soaking up the sun and appreciating the beautiful view of Manly Beach. To drink, we had the Whitewater Martini kaffir lime and lemongrass, infused vodka, apple liqueur shaken with apple juice and lime juice. Pleasant flavour and great combination of flavours. The other half needed some caffeine so he had a strong cup of coffee. The coffee art was surprisingly impressive. We visited the restaurant for lunch and started with the Roasted Chinese duck with housemade pancakes, shallots, cucumber and plum hoisin sauce. The serving size was perfect, wasn’t too big or too small. For a restaurant that doesn’t specialize in Chinese cuisine, the flavours were on par. The only drawback for us was that there were 5 pieces of duck but only 4 pancakes. For the mains we had the Homemade tiger prawn spaghetti, cherry tomatoes, parsley and garlic pesto, spinach, and chilli in a Napolitana sauce. There was a generous amount of prawns and the pasta was nicely cooked. The flavours worked well together. The second main we had was the chargrilled swordfish fillet with tartar sauce and lime. It’s normally served with steakhouse chips but we opted for rocket salad to get some greens in. It was well seasoned and the tartar sauce nicely complimented the fish. The meal was well presented, on a chopping board which gave a rustic and homey feel. The rocket salad worked very well with the fish. It had parmesan, pinenuts, and aged balsamic dressing. The fish was a little overcooked for our preference but apart from that, it was delicious. No meal is complete without dessert. With the wide selection of options on the dessert menu at Whitewater, it’s an even better excuse. We were excited to try the Lemon Meringue which was a short crust pastry filled with a zesty lemon curd topped with burnt Italian Meringue. The pastry was light and crispy and the meringue was not too sweet. All the flavours worked very well together. We also tried the Affogato which was a sweet and simple way to finish off our meals.
