First i... read more The five stars are in the context of a roadside bar, but are nonetheless well earned. We have only visited once, but it confirmed what others have said. First it is a Cheers bar people are really friendly and as far as we could tell, politics gets checked at the door. Service can be deliberate when it 's jammed, which it can be, but you 'll get what you need almost when you need it. Food choices are surprisingly varied and well prepared. A decent selection of drafts and a better range of bottles provide good beer choices as well. We 're not Karaoke fans, but Mary 's is kinda worth it sort of the first round of American Idol with some, umm, earnest acts reminding you that the really good performers and there were several shouldn 't be taken for granted. If you 're staying in the Comfortable dump across the street, it 's a great place to go and get away from your cell. We 'll be back even when we have to drive farther.
