It was fine, not the best Cuban for I’ve had. I ordered their paella and was actually disappointed. There was no burst of flavors, there were no sausages, it was just ok. My friend though her food was just ok too. Loved the staff though, very friendly and helpful View all feedback.
This restaurant is an outstanding choice for Cuban cuisine! We ordered the Havana Grande, and my husband and I enjoyed a delicious plate of black beans, rice, and plantains. The flavors were exceptional, and the watermelon mojito was absolutely perfect! The staff was incredibly friendly, and our food was served quickly. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving Cuban food!
I had a delicious Cuban sandwich with marinated pork, ham, cheese, and mustard all nestled in a toasted bun. The flavor was excellent, and the portion size was just right. Additionally, I tried the ham and cheese croquettes, which stayed crispy during delivery, though they weren't quite as flavorful as the sandwich. The food arrived hot and fresh, so I want to give a shout-out to Uber Eats for their quick delivery. Overall, it was great food and an authentic Cuban sandwich experience.
A long-awaited review to share. Cons? I can't think of any. From the moment you step through the door, you’re made to feel right at home. The restaurant offers bar seating, an outdoor patio, as well as booth and table options. The Cuban food is fantastic—so good that we’ve driven 20 miles just to satisfy our cravings. Their rum and coke is excellent, just the right mix of rum with a splash of coke (my preferred drink). It can get busy, but the wait is definitely worth it. If you're in the area and have never tried Cuban food, this is the place to go!
What a great place! I love the vibe here and the pictures of the malecón in Havana. It's definitely not the same Cuban food you'd get in Miami, but it hits the spot if you're missing home. I'm new to California and moved here after living in Miami my entire life. There were some things that didn't quite feel like home the rice wasn't sticky enough and the filete de pollo was super thin) but it was still very good! The black beans were phenomenal and the maduros we're slightly overcooked, but I love them that way. My Cuban partner likes them mushy. In short, if you love Cuban food, you'll enjoy this spot because they try really hard to capture the flavors. The onions on the filet de pollo were not picado like they usually are in Miami and it was a little sweet, but I still ate it all. I took away a star because I've honestly never been to a Cuban restaurant that doesn't give you Cuban bread while you wait. I was craving Cuban bread and I was really disappointed to know that they didn't have any -I couldn't order a tostada : Otherwise, everything else was great and I'll be back!!!
My friend and I got the Havana grande platter, 2 Cubano sandwiches, old fashions and cuba libre drinks. The Havana platter was good. Cubano sandwiches were ok; we have had better. The drinks are stiff. The customer service was great. Parking is free in the vicinity. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
