Got th... read more So went to Sarba's Italian Lakelands tonight with my kids to meet up with a friend and her kids which I was looking forward to as I love my Italian food. Got there at 5.50pm and was quiet busy and thought we would be waiting a bit for food which was ok. My friend got there at 5.55pm and we basically ordered kids food and drinks straight away, then once drinks came we ordered our mains. Due to some drinks coming to the table which weren't ours while we were trying to order our mains, our waitress looked panicked as she walked away after taking our order. We asked the staff member who brought the drinks over to please double check that our order was correct as it had items which needed to be removed from 1 of the meals. After 30 mins I thought mains were taking a little longer than normal but as it was busy didn't ask what was happening but after 1.15hrs we asked asked the waitress who took our order what was happening with our mains and found out nothing had been placed, so we told them not to worry and asked for the manager. Manager came over to then say it will be 5 mins and placed the blame on the waitress and said she was new which I thought was horrible, even if you have a new staff member that was a stupid thing to do. You are in charge if your staff stuffs up that's on you. At no point did she offer anything to try make our experience better or offer free drinks or anything. Thank god my 6 year old got some food but I then had to go get my 11 year old something from takeaway place as he still had not eaten at nearly 7.30. Such a disappointing night and safe to say we wont be back

I absolutely loved sarbas. the staff is very friendly and helpful, eating is delicious and the variety on the menu is extensive. it has a somewhat industrial fa... read more I absolutely loved sarbas. the staff is very friendly and helpful, eating is delicious and the variety on the menu is extensive. it has a somewhat industrial facility, but very clean and relaxing. the only thing I want to see is a bit more upside down with the tables and cutlery, I can recommend that they wrap the cutlery in the serviettes and add a little decor to the tables, moreover it is a top place, a hidden little jewel in the lakelands shopping center
