My daughter treated me to a birthday afternoon tea, which was served promptly even though the restaurant was full. The service was excellent and the afternoon tea itself was delicious. I have not been in Darby's before. I called in for afternoon tea after seeing it advertised in the window. Service was good and the place is very nice and welcoming. The afternoon tea was OK. Sandwiches were really nice and the cakes were nice enough, tiny portion though, gone in one bite. Scone was OK, a scones a scone I suppose!
