After dinner the room wa... read more What an amazing day into evening for my friends birthday. We arrived to welcome drinks, had dinner in the day, the room looked amazing. After dinner the room was cleared into a dance space whilst we had drinks in an adjoining room and the DJ started his set. The team were super friendly and helpful. Lauren was fantastic looking after the birthday girl. We danced into the AM. Has to be one of the most amazing parties I’ve attended, a room full of amazing people who were looked after, a fantastic venue for the event. Well done guys!

I organised a s... read more I held my 50th birthday celebrations in the VIP room at Barca Castlefield and had the most perfect day and night with all my family and friends. I organised a sit down meal for 45 people which was followed by a party in the evening for a further 70 people. The management and staff are friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The lovely Lauren was my party planner and I can honestly say she was a superstar from the minute I booked. Answering questions, putting my mind at rest, advising me and reassuring me regarding menu choices and drinks packages. She happily spoke with me when’s we I needed a call even when it was outside of business hours. Helios is the General manager and is an absolute delight we were so well looked after from the moment we turned up to decorate the room we were given prosecco and felt very welcome. Jacob was super helpful through the day and evening polite and always smiling. I would 100% recommend Barca as a venue to host any celebration. I just wish I could do it all over again!

What is usually the jazz room was closed due... read more Stylish modern venue newly refurbished and what a difference. Update 31st March 2024 Soul society event held here. What is usually the jazz room was closed due to refurbishment. Tables and chairs at the bottom bar which are usually removed. So less room available. NO CLOAKROOM! NO AIR CON ON IN THE REGGAE ROOM. It was very hot in that room so much so I became ill and had to leave quickly. One woman stood on a chair holding a large bottle behind her ready to fight another woman. Dj quickly asked for security to remove them. They did but continued outside. Soul room was packed with people having to push through to the other side whilst being careful not to slip on all the spilt drinks. It's usually a nice peaceful event but felt very different this time!
