Armstrongs is definitely the best chip shop in the area.
I absolutely adore Armstrongs! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by their tagline, "HOME OF THE JUMBO COD." I always picture someone shouting it. Anyway, the atmosphere at Armstrongs is cozy and inviting.
I live in Salford, but it's definitely worth making the drive up the hill to visit Armstrongs. They offer excellent value and have the best fish and chips in the area.
