What StaceyD doesn't like about Remington's:
The food was okay, but the service was very poor. We waited 25 minutes with empty glasses of water and wine, and despite being promised bread multiple times, it never arrived. It felt like they were more focused on serving the regular Saturday night crowd than attending to our needs. Our steak was good and cooked perfectly, but we felt rushed throughout our entire dinner.
Apps, were luke warm and took 30 mins. The place was empty, yet we waited 15 mins for a server. Tap beer was flat and not cold. Entrees are over-priced and don't fill you up. Very disappointed in Remingtons's, not going back to waste anymore money.
It was bit unusual.... There were four of us and our orders were timely and correct except for one of our group.. The drink order was not correct and the food came incomplete .. This was not our usual FINE experience...
While we thought the entertainment was a bit too loud given the number of patrons, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The arugula watermelon salad was refreshing and delicious and the salmon was wonderful- great sauce!
Maybe it was an off day since it was Labor day but there were some issues. Most of us ordered the she-crab soup as and appetizer. It was delicious and chunky but served only warm. We all ordered different things for the main. There were temperature problems such as cold vegetables and fries. 2 ordered the waygu beef burger medium rare and they were medium well. They did take the burgers off the tab. Nobody wanted to send back their food as it took so long for it to come. It was not crowded but sometimes that is worse than full. Michael the bar manager was attentive but our actual server was not very good or even pleasant. In the past we always liked Remington's and may still try again! The menu is very good as long as they can get it out of the kitchen in a timely fashion.
