Everyone was helpful, happy, friendly which was amazing considering how busy everyone was. The food was exceptional, and the grounds are lovely. Rooms are a bit dated , but very comfortable. No problem going there again.

The parking lot is huge,... read more We have been coming to Sprinfort hall for many years. It is ideal for special occasions. The house and surounding grounds are fabulous. The parking lot is huge, and the staff are pleasant and welcoming when you enter the house. On this visit. we went for Valentin's day dinner with relatives. We were 2 couples. There was a special valentine's day menu. We also asked for the regular menu. It turned out that the same dishes were on both menu's. We ordered wine and fish and chips (2x), sea trout (1) and seafood linguine (me). The food was good, but not very special. Plain food, just like the Irish like it. Not really in line with the rest of the place. In such a beautiful setting I would expect fancy food, served with attention to detail, beautifully plated. Just a bit more refinement would have been nice. Our server was very nice and professional. We had a drink after dinner in the lounge by the fireplace. The fireplace had been lit, but the fire had gone out, Noone was looking after it. Some of the visitors who were sitting by the fireplace tried to keep it going, but failed, so I closed the door to keep the draft at bay. The atmosphere could have been so mch better with the fire lighting.... after all, it was February. We will be back some day. This place has great potential and could be perfect with a few minor improvements.

I would stay here again but would choose summer months when the heating is not required.

The food was acceptable, but overall, the experience left us feeling mis... read more We had a dinner reservation for 7:30 PM but didn’t get to eat until 9 PM due to delays. The food was acceptable, but overall, the experience left us feeling misled. It would have been much better if they had informed us about the room situation in advance. Moreover, at checkout, we were surprised by a bill of 222 euros, especially since 254 euros had already been charged to our account because of additional taxes of 23% and 13.5%. This lack of transparency was disappointing, and as a result, I do not plan to return. It’s truly a shame.
