Recently, guests have enjoyed a stay at a beautiful old farmhouse with lovely gardens, despite issues with the heating system. The restaurant, while accommodating to vegan requests, received mixed reviews on its food. The hotel staff was praised for being friendly and helpful, despite some delays and confusion with room reservations. The café in Mallow city was described as charming and busy, though lacking in food and drink options. Overall, while some aspects of the accommodations received criticism, the atmosphere and location were generally well-received.

We had a dinner reservation for 7:30 PM but didn’t get to eat until 9 PM due to delays. The food was acceptable, but overall, the experience left us feeling misled. It would have been much better if they had informed us about the room situation in advance. Moreover, at checkout, we were surprised by a bill of 222 euros, especially since 254 euros had already been charged to our account because of additional taxes of 23% and 13.5%. This lack of transparency was disappointing, and as a result, I do not plan to return. It’s truly a shame.
Springfort Hall Cafe is unquestionably the best spot in town for lunch. Their menu offers a diverse selection of soups, sandwiches, and salads, all of which I’ve tried and found consistently outstanding. The quality of the food and coffee here is truly exceptional.
Springfort Hall Cafe, located in the center of Mallow, is truly charming. Its rustic yet stylish interior combined with decadent cakes makes it an ideal place to unwind for a couple of hours.
I don’t quite see the hype around this restaurant. The food was rather average and nothing special. However, the journey to the beautiful country house was genuinely remarkable.
