We could have been in Le Suquet, Cannes. From the bread and tapenade, right through to creme brulee, every mouthful was heavenly. The staff were so attentive without being annoying. The wines were also perfect, a crisp, cold white and a light, balanced red. Couldn't fault a thing. Speaks volumes that I'm only home ten minutes before writing this. Had to share. Excellent restaurant with a beautiful menu, delicious food, a good wine card and beautiful staff. On a wet Monday evening 5.20 shortly after its opening. I had tried to make a reservation, but there is no line system and the mobile number was ringing. I was told that there was no room in the restaurant, but a place outside under a protected surcharge was offered. it was okay, but a bit inexplicable, as there were many tables inside. they turned on an Eling heating and while it was not exactly cozy it was dry. Anyway, eating was good, generous positions of squid and chips, small portions of sea bass. a young French waiter was efficient in ordering and declared the courts. a second waiter who delivered the food was quite abrupt and if I hadn't been with a work colleague, I would have said something. he threw the plates on the table. he also tried to remove the plate in the middle of the meal when we still eat and chat. the meal costs 128 for 3 starters, 3 nets, 2 non-alcoholic beers and a diet mineral. Overall, eating was good, but they must work on their charm and customer experience, I will not rush back soon.
