Every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful the food was and the staff could not of done more . There was 36 of us and the accommodated anything we needed . The staff were phenomenal even with a large group that may seem overwhelming . They also put our cake out the was sourced from outside with no complaints . The view is beautiful looking over the sea and I will 100% be returning in the future. Thank you to all the staff on the coast restaurant on the 21/02/26 .

However, the main course did... read more The staff were outstanding, and the window seat provided a perfect setting. The dessert—pear, meringue, and cherry—was delightful. However, the main course did not meet my expectations. I had anticipated fondant potatoes, but they were not served. Instead, there was an excessive amount of mashed potatoes. The beef was overcooked, and the vegetables were quite ordinary.

I enjoyed the fish trio, while my husband had the Lamb Wellington on the second night of their new menu. Both dishes were beautifully presented and full of delicious flavors.

Booked for a large group, and since the recent change in ownership, Coast has definitely stepped up its game. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced.... read more Booked for a large group, and since the recent change in ownership, Coast has definitely stepped up its game. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The biggest improvement, however, has been the service—it’s clear there’s been a real focus on making things better. You can notice the small changes, like staff in uniforms and better training. There’s also a subtle refurbishment underway. This lovely hotel, rich in heritage, is clearly moving in a positive direction. I have another large group to organize, and if it happens, we will likely return here.
