Went here last night . Chicken burger was nice . If your going to charge nearly €9 for a slice of dry cake you should up standards. The place looks shabby . We only had drinks at this restaurant, but it is a very nice place. However, it was expensive for us!
We had a 60 Birthday meal in McGovern's on Friday night. The food was delicious. I had the Hake and others had fish and chips and pasta and chicken etc., all reports were good. The staff were friendly and attentive and we had a lovely night. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I've been here many times and always enjoy my visits. Thanks for a lovely night.
I go here alot. The staff are lovely and the food is fantastic. This is such a great place to go. My elderly parents are in their late 80s and both have dementia and Stacey and the team in mcGoverns mind them like family when they are in. I also pop in sometimes for my lunch. The lunch menu is great value with really good food. I love the hake and chocolate pot for afters! Don't be fooled by the lack of white tablecloths and fancy silverware. This is a great place to eat with staff that genuinely care about their customers.
