Great atmosphere, pure definition of traditional Irish pub. Mixed crowd, everyone was friendly and most importantly cold beer on tap! A must go to if you are traveling to Dublin. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gibneys:
Was very happy to be asked for vaccine certificate and contact phone number on entry to Gibneys.if you don't have a vaccine certificate they have plenty of space on the road,in the garden or roof top to eat outside. We had soup and sandwiches which were fine and resonably priced. View all feedback.
Lovely pub and restaurant. Had traditional Irish food at James Gibney side. Seating outside in good weather. Met the owners, maybe very distant cousins, as we have the same last name. Beautiful town. Would recommend!
My first Irish pub I got to visit on our vacation and it was a perfect little spot. The outdoor patio was wonderful to sit outside.
Iconic Malahide pub with lots of choices of bars and decor. Atmosphere is good and service is friendly. A good choice of food and drink on the menu. The food is tasty but servings are big. Prices are reasonable for the area. Outside seating also available. Take away drink available.
The food was alright but took way too long. I ordered fries and two burgers with chips. One of the sets came but the other took 50 minutes to arrive. We asked where it was but the waitress was just trying to avoid the situation all together. It then arrived and the waiter explained there was an accident in the kitchen. Smh, I wouldn't recommend this place for food although can be a place to stop by for drinks.
Had lunch unpstairs on the terrace which is a lovely spot for food and drinks. However the food service and attention to detail let it down. No cutlery, salt or pepper, or napkin provided. There seemed to be a lack of communication between staff not knowing what table ordered food etc.
