My boyfriend and I were really disappointed after the vegan lasagna and feeling unwell. It was really tasteless and there was a chunk of burnt pasta at the bottom of my bowl that I couldn 't even cut through. Definitely microwaved! We eventually met with the manager who I presume the pub is named after because his attitude was so 'fowl ' and we didn 't get an apology. We won 't be back.
We went to Malahide yesterday and were surprised to find 4 vegan dishes that are not just salad on the menu. What I loved even more: there is a vegan lasagne on the Kids menu as well! We were thrilled. The atmosphere in the place is good and welcoming. Decent prices and I definitely recommend going.
My friend and I were quite disappointed with the vegan lasagna, and we felt uncomfortable during our visit. The dish was bland, and there was a piece of burnt pasta at the bottom of my bowl that I couldn’t even cut through. It definitely seemed like it had been microwaved! Eventually, we spoke with the manager, and based on his attitude, which was quite unpleasant, I suspect the pub got its name for a reason. We did receive an apology, but we won’t be coming back.
This place is huge and gorgeous. Staff is friendly. Food is amazing.
We visited Malahide yesterday and were pleasantly surprised to find four vegan dishes on the menu that go beyond just salads. What I loved even more was that there’s also a vegan lasagna offered on the children's menu! We were absolutely thrilled. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, prices are reasonable, and I would definitely recommend checking it out.
