We visited Malahide yesterday and were pleasantly surprised to discover four vegan dishes on the menu that go beyond just salads. What I loved even more was that there’s a vegan lasagna on the children's menu! We were truly delighted. The atmosphere of the place is inviting and friendly. My friend and I were quite disappointed with the vegan lasagna, and the overall experience left us uncomfortable. The dish was really bland, and there was a piece of burnt pasta at the bottom of my bowl that I couldn't even cut through. It definitely seemed like it had been microwaved! We went to Malahide yesterday and were surprised to find 4 vegan dishes that are not just salad on the menu. What I loved even more: there is a vegan lasagne on the Kids menu as well! We were thrilled. The atmosphere in the place is good and welcoming. Decent prices and I definitely recommend going.
My boyfriend and I were really disappointed after the vegan lasagna and feeling unwell. It was really tasteless and there was a chunk of burnt pasta at the bottom of my bowl that I couldn 't even cut through. Definitely microwaved! We eventually met with the manager who I presume the pub is named after because his attitude was so 'fowl ' and we didn 't get an apology. We won 't be back.
This place is huge and gorgeous. Staff is friendly. Food is amazing.

Eventually, we spoke with the manager, and based on his attitude, which was quite unpleasant, I suspect the pub got its name for a reason. We did receive an apology, but we won’t be coming back.
