What David m doesn't like about Cape Breton Smokehouse Restaurant:
This was the oddest experience. It 's in the middle of nowhere (granted most places are here). No one was there. The place was beautiful inside but totally silent no music, nothing. Only one staffer was seen who was the nicest lady in the world, but didn 't speak English and was a bit awkward. The menu looked great but after ordering we could hear the beep beep of microwaves being set in the kitchen. 6 microwaves set... View all feedback. What Linda B likes about Cape Breton Smokehouse Restaurant:
We stuck to the house specialty, Smoked salmon which was excellent. But also, the fish soup was very good, the french fries and the homemade cheese cake excellent. We were on a boat anchored in Little Harbor so dinghied in to their dock. Beautiful log cabin building; gorgeous view of the lake. View all feedback.

We arrived by boat but unfortunately, the restaurant is only open Friday to Sunday. We visited on a Monday. The location is beautiful.
