Restrooms are small, but the store is like planetarium a lot bigger on the inside than you think. We got bread, jam jam molasses and (of course) jam cookies (good), oat cakes (outstanding), sandwiches for our picnic lunch on the Bras D 'Or shore near Iona (took the ferry at Little Narrows just north of Whycocomagh). Overworked but never unpleasant staff. Large selection of homemade fudges. A fine brief stop if you 're not heading for the restaurants of Baddeck.
