Was EatGirl at The Hideout a mag?
The nachos, fries, mojos, and pizza rolls were all very reasonably priced. Their group meals offer excellent value for both the price and portion sizes. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the space is somewhat small and can feel a bit cramped. View all feedback.
What Jetfree Nicolas (Jet) dislikes about The Hideout:
The service was slow, and the food was just average. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person ranged from ₱1,400 to ₱1,600. I would rate the food a 3 and the service a 3 as well, while the atmosphere gets a 4. I would recommend trying the Choco Hazelnut Oreo dessert. View all feedback.
As for their milk tea and coffee, I wouldn't pay over 100 pesos for them either; they just don't have that depth of flavor. I was expecting something on par with Gcafe or Dunkin' Donuts, but unfortunately, it fell short. It feels more like a mediocre experience rather than one to savor. I’m not trying to criticize harshly; I just want to express my disappointment, especially since I've dined here several times. There hasn’t been any noticeable change in the food, which is consistently bland. Service-wise, the slow pace is frustrating. I assumed the wait might mean the food was being carefully prepared, but it only left customers feeling annoyed. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and considers revamping the menu to enhance both the food and the overall service. The prices are quite steep for what is being offered.

This café has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's a small venue with a classic café feel that's ideal for students. They provide board games, giving you the chance to have some fun with friends while you wait. The service is quite good. I wanted to order the Carbonara, but unfortunately, it was not available. I recalled that two years ago, before the café was renovated, I encountered the same issue with the Carbonara being on the menu but out of stock. Back then, they only had Baked Mac and Lasagna. Interestingly, the current menu also mentioned that Lasagna was not available. So, I opted for the Baked Mac (P120.00). The food arrived quickly, in just 5-10 minutes. At first glance, the Baked Mac seemed a bit on the small side, but it turned out to be a satisfying portion for the price. The flavor was delightful—sweet and cheesy, topped with a generous layer of cheese, and included mushrooms and ground meat. It was served piping hot. My only minor issue was with the paper underneath the Baked Mac; when I tried to cut a portion, the paper sometimes tore because it got wet from the sauce. The prices are very reasonable. I’m looking forward to trying their frappes and milkshakes at their other locations.

I have no issues with the staff; they were polite and friendly. The only drawback was that some of the other customers were a bit loud. However, since it's a public space, I can't really hold that against them. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying this place; the food is quite tasty!
